Affiliate Disclosure
How YourBestSavings makes money — and why it never changes which accounts appear or how they rank.
YourBestSavings.com is published by ByTheMath. Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you open an account after clicking one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
What a commission does and doesn’t affect
- It never changes our rankings. Order is set purely by the composite score. No institution can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to be featured.
- We rank accounts whether or not they pay us. Many top-ranked accounts have no affiliate relationship at all — small credit unions and online-only banks included.
- Rates come from the source. We verify every APY against the institution’s own rate page and show the date. Always confirm the current rate before opening.
How we make money
Two ways: affiliate commissions when you open an account through some of our links, and data licensing to publishers and developers. Neither changes what we list or the order — the ranking is the math. If a bank name isn’t an affiliate link, it points straight to the institution’s own rate page.
How to spot an affiliate link
Affiliate links are labeled as such and open in a new tab. Unlabeled institution links go directly to the bank or credit union’s own site. Either way, we have no ability to move an account up or down based on whether it earns us anything.
